Psychological assessment of the donor:
The donor gave birth to her own child early – at 16 years old, it was a difficult choice for her. Therefore, she thought a lot about different moments in motherhood, about the choices that a woman has to make, about her responsibility for a new life. Therefore, when she learned about oocyte donation, she became interested. She decided to become a donor because it is a good deed. It is a contribution to the future, to a new life.
The donor is unmarried, she is raising a 3-year-old daughter on her own, who is a cheerful, pretty, active, sociable girl. The daughter is curious about the world, attends developmental classes, loves to play with other children and communicate, learn new things.
The donor's parents divorced in childhood, so it was difficult for her, communication with both her father and mother was not what she dreamed of, yearned for. She lacked closeness with them. For her, a close person was her grandmother, who worried about her, looked after her, helped with her studies. Her grandmother was kind, loving, warm - it was she who instilled these traits in her.
The donor has a half-brother from her mother's second marriage, who is now 5 years old. They have a 13-year age difference. Therefore, they almost never lived together.
The donor was an active, sociable, talkative child. She often acted as an organizer in the team. She loved pets, tried to take care of them. She became independent early, started working part-time, earned her first money at the age of 15. When she entered college after school, she began to live on her own. She met a guy, they dated for 2 years, then she found out that she was pregnant. Although she was very young and not sure about her partner, she decided to have a child.
