The donor saw an advertisement for the oocyte donation program on a social network. It interested her, she decided to try to become a donor too. “Why not, if I can help, I can be useful, share what I have. It’s a good cause, and it’s a pity that there are people who, due to certain factors, cannot become parents. In addition, this is additional financial support for me and my family.”
The donor’s family is her husband and 4-year-old daughter. She speaks about her daughter with warmth and a smile, saying that she is a kind, calm, gentle girl. The daughter shows a talent for creativity and artistry – she loves to draw, sing, dance. She and her daughter have a close bond, she likes to spend time together, playing games.
The donor is more focused on the inner world, she doesn’t need noisy companies, many friends, intense communication, etc. The best friend for her is her husband. Family and healthy relationships are her priority.
The donor mentions her parents reluctantly. She is the only child in the family, but since childhood she has had a tense relationship with her parents. She feels that she was often emotionally uncomfortable with them, that they were not sufficiently involved in her upbringing, life, and experiences. Misunderstandings and emotional coldness arise between them. She experiences this painfully, in matters of relations with her parents she is vulnerable, sensitive, and more closed.
The donor says that as a child she was calm, quiet, shy. She had a couple of friends with whom she spent time, but she was quite closed in communication. She studied well, was interested in history. She loved to read books, study languages, was fond of law. She loved to do creativity, needlework - drawing, beadwork. Usually she spent her free time studying, quietly drawing or embroidering.
When she entered the university after the 11th grade, an interesting student life began. She grew up early, became independent, lived in a dormitory. She found a common language with the girls in her room. Sometimes it was difficult for her because of the lack of opportunity to be alone, but she liked that she had the opportunity to study her favorite subjects in depth.
While studying at the university, she met her future husband. Two years later they began to live together, decided to get married, and then a daughter was born.
The donor has a higher education - a history teacher. She is currently unemployed, planning to start looking for a job after her daughter adapts to kindergarten.
She has a hobby that helps her improve her mood, calm down, and direct her own thoughts – beadwork, and has several embroidered paintings.
She considers her special feature to be perseverance in achieving goals, concentration, and conscientiousness when completing tasks, work, and study.
Her main achievement today is her own family, the birth of a child, and loving and close relationships in her family.
She dreams of changing her place of residence; she would like to live in Western Ukraine. She is more impressed by the culture, views, and mentality of this region. She also dreams of traveling with her family and showing her daughter the diversity of the world.
Donor can be described as a responsible, punctual person. In communication, she is polite, reasonable, and intelligent. She is an emotional, sensitive, and vulnerable person. She has a calm, balanced, and non-conflict character. She is characterized by having her own small circle of close people. He knows how to build communication with others, maintain the necessary contact, adapt in communication, but keep a certain distance.
